I am Richard Affleck, the English owner of Footprints Villa, Viganj, Croatia.

I purchased the villa as a complete ruin around 12 years ago. It didn't even have a roof, and a tree was growing in the lounge. I spent 3 years (and 24 return flights) overseeing its total renovation.  As you can see from my photos, it's turned out rather well and I do hope you choose to come and stay.

When you enquire, I manage the whole process with you. No agents, no call centres, and CERTAINLY no booking fees. For several years I have also advertised HomeAway/VRBO etc. However, recently they are charging you the guest up to 9% just for simply using their sites to book. I don't agree with this, but I advertise with them simply for exposure, then welcome clients to book direct and save. I have ensured the booking platform I subscribe to and use on this my site is fully credit card and data secure.

From your first contact I will be on hand at all times to offer help, advice, local knowledge and transport assistance as and when you need it.

Once in residence, my local agent and her team will care for you and assist should you need help.
